Introduction

The Children’s Ministry at Athens Christian Church is a growing and exciting ministry! This ministry is more than babysitting. It is designed so that all children who enter the church building will know that they have a special place in the household of God. This in turn will enable the children to begin a lifelong relationship with their heavenly Father.

Purpose

We exist to help children develop a personal relationship with and to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. 

Values

We value worship, Bible study, serving, giving, relationships, and sharing our faith.

We allow Matthew 22:37-40 to drive our ministries:

Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments."
