Get to know our Director Morgan Wells!
Raised in Athens, IL, Morgan has spent her whole life growing up as a Warrior. In 2011, at a Christ in Youth conference, a young, naïve girl became a follower of Jesus. After graduating Athens High School in 2014, Morgan attended Lincoln Land Community College and then the University of Illinois Springfield
where she received her Bachelor’s degree. Throughout high school, Morgan worked at the After School Program as a group helper, group leader, and eventually over time, Assistant Director before taking over as Director in January of 2019.
Morgan wants every child that attends FUSE to know how loved, valued, and special they are, not just to the staff, but to the Lord. A few highlights of her time in ministry are seeing a program mother get baptized and watching countless families attend ACC church services and family functions. When Morgan isn’t working at FUSE, she enjoys spending time with her family, helping out on the farm, and eating Chili’s chips and salsa…not necessarily in that order!
